CocaCola Arena

Located in City Walk and within walking distance of Burj Khalifa, the Coca Cola Arena is the largest indoor arena in the region. Truelux was given a very special role to help develop two unique feature lighting installations which would be located in key areas of the arena. Following extensive design development, Truelux manufactured and installed one of the most prominent features of the arena in the form of a fully dynamic feature chandelier with 80,000 DMX addresses.

Control is via a Madrix control system giving the operators complete flexibility on how the installation responds to the environment and featured event. In the Dine and View area, visible from the whole arena, another unique installation features 1344 illuminated spheres. The spheres appear to be hanging unaided, and although they have an almost surreal appearance as they drift away from the floor, they also create a very robust feature of the dining area. Achieving a cosy and welcoming space in such a large arena is testament to great interior and lighting design, and demonstrates the impact that such an installation can have.
